A FUN HOLIDAY AT SURABAYA ZOO

Hi friends, my name is Widya Afifuddina. You can call me Widya or Dina. I'm going to tell you about my very enjoyable vacation at the Surabaya Zoo.

I went on holiday there only with my older sister, unfortunately my father and mother couldn't come on holiday. My sister and I went there by train, and of course we booked the tickets the day before via the KAI ACCESS app. The day arrived. My sister and I went to Tanggulangin Station and waited for our train to arrive. It was my first time riding a train, and it was so much fun. After a short journey, we finally arrived at Gubeng Station in Surabaya. We continued our journey to Surabaya Zoo by bicycle rickshaw. The journey was a blast.

Finally, we arrived at Surabaya Zoo. The two of us queued for our entrance tickets. The entrance fee was fifteen thousand rupiah, if I'm not mistaken (I forgot). After purchasing tickets, the two of us entered and enjoyed our tour of the Surabaya Zoo. We saw a wide variety of animals. As soon as we stepped in, we were immediately greeted. As soon as we entered, we were immediately greeted by giraffes and ostriches.

The two of us wandered around and explored the Surabaya Zoo. There were elephants, tigers, lions, squirrels, ducks, swans, hippos, zebras, orangutans, monkeys, crocodiles, deers, various species of birds, and many more. But unfortunately, the two of us did not enter the aquarium zone and the aquatic animal section, because we were tired from walking around the Surabaya Zoo.

Coincidentally, when we visited, there was a traditional arts performance, namely Reog Ponorogo. My sister and I enjoyed the show while having snacks. After taking a short break while enjoying the show, we continued our journey around Surabaya Zoo. We wandered around, enjoying the views, taking photos, observing animals, pray and doing other activities. I had a great time.

After exploring the area, we were feeling hungry. We ended up buying meatballs at the Surabaya Zoo. They were delicious, But the price is expensive. After being satisfied with going around the Surabaya Zoo and feeling tired, we decided to go home by train again. I really enjoyed this holiday because it was my first time. Thank you to my older sister. Next time I want to go to Surabaya Zoo again, but next time with my boyfriend.
